This week in art we made onomatopoeia pictures. Onomatopoeia is when a word sounds like its meaning like 'pop, bang or fizz'. We looked at Andy Warhol and Roy Liechtenstein’s art. The main thing in the art was the word you chose. We were given coloured or white paper to cut out the word. Your word had to take up most of the page, then you had to decorate the page and stick the word on. For this art we were allowed to use markers. We had lots of fun during this lesson and they all look so bright and colourful in our classroom.
