2nd Class Forest School!

2nd Class have been really enjoying their Forest School sessions with Ms Beardsley, parents volunteers and 6th Class helpers. So many subjects of the curriculum have been integrated into the sessions and the learning has been so joyful! They've tried foraged nettle tea, studied birds, made birds nests, learned about medicinal native wild plants literally on our doorstep, participated in team challenges, STEM, storytelling, art, drama, PE , games and much more, as well as having an amazing time! All this just a 10 minute walk from the school...it really is a wonderful world we live in and it's great to see it being appreciated and embraced by the children.
