This week has been Mental Health Awareness Week here in school and what a great week it's been! Organised by the Amber Flag Committee with the help of Ms. Storey and Ms. Farrell, there were lots of engaging activities and positive experiences to help us learn that it's as important to look after our mental health as it is to mind our physical bodies.

We had yoga, co-operative games, co-operative art activities, prayer stations, online safety workshops and a variety of sporting activities. 6th class were such good role models for the younger children and organised activities for groups outside in the yard.

Friday was our 'Feelgood Friday' and everyone wore brightly coloured clothes or clothing with positive slogans. Canon Adrienne joined us for our assembly and there was such a happy and positive atmosphere in school all day. We also had a collection for Pieta House and raised €522.50. A huge thank you to the Amber Flag Committee, 6th class, Ms. Storey and Ms. Farrell for all the organisation. A complete triumph!
