Over the past few weeks we have prepared the flower beds, planted pollinator friendly plants and sown wildflower seeds.
The children have enjoyed spending time outdoors, getting their hands dirty and learning about the environment. First class also enjoyed upcycling plastic bottles, making lovely colourful plant pots! They filled these with a selection of plants, which they chose on a visit to Rathfarnham Orchard Garden Centre.
We look forward to seeing the fruits of our labour develop and thrive in the coming weeks and when we return to school in September!
