6th Class Forest School

During the last term, 6th Class took part in some Forest School "taster sessions" in a nearby wooded area by the Dodder. Ms Beardsley is currently training to be a Forest School leader and is hoping to bring a lot more outdoor learning to Rathfarnham Parish NS in the near future. Small groups went to the woods with Ms Beardsley and Mr Leonard and took part in lots of activities. These included a lot of "invisible learning" and subjects such as Art, Geography, Science, STEM, PE and SPHE were touched on. A lot of fun was had too!
